Critter Outlaws

Nashville & Brown County Wildlife Removal

Brown County State Park, Indiana’s largest state park, sits just south and east of Nashville, and Yellowwood State Forest lies a few miles to the west. Many properties here are surrounded by woods, and buildings with trees close by give wildlife easy access to roofs, decks and crawlspaces. Critter Outlaws helps Nashville and Brown County property owners get wild animals out humanely and keep them out.

To schedule a free inspection, call (812) 821-4462. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 to 5, and calls are answered around the clock.

Cabins, vacation rentals and second homes

Cabins, rentals and second homes can sit empty for days or weeks. A quiet building gives raccoons, squirrels and mice time to settle in without anyone noticing, so damage like droppings, nesting material and torn insulation can build up before a guest or owner spots it.

If you own or manage a property here, a few checks between stays help:

  • Look for new gaps around roof edges, vents and chimney flashing, especially after storms bring limbs down.
  • Make sure chimney caps and vent screens are in place.
  • Watch for droppings in storage areas and along attic edges.

If you find signs of activity, Critter Outlaws can inspect, remove the animals, seal the entry points and clean up so the place is ready for the next stay.

Bats and snakes are best left to a professional rather than do-it-yourself traps, and any wildlife work is handled according to Indiana law.

What happens when you call

A log cabin on a ridge has different weak spots than a shop in town, but the process is the same:

  • Inspection inside and out to find how animals are getting in
  • A free estimate before any work starts
  • Humane removal by trapping or one-way exclusion, depending on the animal
  • Exclusion and seal-up of entry points
  • Cleanup: droppings and nesting material removed, the area sanitized, and wildlife-damaged attic insulation removed or replaced when needed

Critter Outlaws is a small, owner-operated wildlife removal business, not a government animal control agency. We respond as quickly as possible.
